As the title suggests, this post is yet another love fest for the brand Surface to Air.
During the Black Friday/Cyber Monday madness, I was doing a little research surrounding the brand, and so I happened to stumble across their silver Sleeping Doe ring, as its called. A small Doe's head rests on your ringer as you prance around the world in style. Lovely, don't-cha think ? (Ahem, that was a rhetoric question).
In
other news, I wanted to divulge my cosmetic brand choices..no one has put a gun to my head and made me gush over brands and what I am about to say, BUT I am truly so pleasantly surprised over Revlon's collection of lipsticks. I used to be a strictly snobby MAC girl, who only bought the necessities at their little MAC stand at Nordstrom's. Like some strict vegan, only allowing the purity of MAC to touch my face, I swore on their products. However, when I came across Revlon's price range and quality, my inner frugal crabby lady squealed with delight. You see, you must excuse my makeup ignorance, as when I lived in Luxembourg for 12 years, they had drug store makeup that wasn't even good enough for your pooch to put on. And I'm a dog person. It was either Chanel and Dior (Im sorry but Im not crazy about Dior, too much glitter), or the royal Nada. So upon coming to the States, I was skeptical of Walgreen's makeup. Boy was I clueless !
Today Im wearing Revlon's Iced Mocha, got this babe on sale, half off at my local Walgreen's, got 2 for the price of one. Whoop whoop ! The little things in life..

ReplyDeleteI love the way you style your outfits, so excellent! and nice lipstick find btw. Ah, I miss how cheap lipstick is in the US of A.

Good to know. You always have great makeup!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous !
ReplyDeleteI used to be just like you. My mum worked for the UN and she got a huge discount on make up, perfumes etc (basic stuff from the duty free shop). I grew up wearing YSL, Dior, Chanel, Lancôme and other reeeeally expensive brands (they're about twice as expensive in Finland compared to the States).
I found my first Maybelline lipstick last year, and oh, how I love it.
Well, back to my comment about your post. Loving the outfit, the fishnet dress and the silver booties look magical together. The simple colour pallette really works for you.
PS What happened to your hair? I've been offline (except for a few updates) for a few weeks and you've changed ! Really loved the auburn hair.
Don't get me wrong - you look beautiful in any hairstyle. :)
i never get bored by your outfits ♥
