True Colors

I recently saw The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, a movie that takes place in Stockholm, Sweden full of family ties, intrigue, twists and turns, that will leave you on the edge of your seat. A must of a movie to see this year.

For those of you who remember actress Rooney Mara from the Nightmare on Elm Street remake back in 2010, you might need to take a second glance to realize that this truly is the same gal. Not only the new short black dyed do', but she also underwent several sessions in Brooklyn and in Sweden where she got piercings done (nipple, nose, eyebrow and lip) for her character Lisbeth.

Rooney is looking pretty hot in this movie.

  6. Hi sweetie,

Have you seen the original Swedish movie too? I bet it's even better than the Hollywood remake (haven't seen the Hollywood version, yet). :-)

You look gorgeous! The rough backdrop and the clean, white knit make such a dramatic contrast, loving it. I really like the dark lipstick on you.

    Kisses!

  8. This look is so simple but so effective! And your jewelry is wonderful.
I have yet to see the new film - I love the originals so much, and Noomi Rapace is such a perfect Lisbeth. But I really want to check out Mara's performance, too.

  13. Amazing. And that movie was so freaking good! I'm officially in love with Rooney Mara. did you know H&M did a whole line based on her character? I was also super stoked when I found out there will be a 2nd and 3rd movie, following the trilogy of the novels. Yesss.
