Daddyz Approved

So first off, I would like to take this opportunity to explain the happening which has occurred on top my skull. Unfortunately, I put too much trust in my hairdresser's. I say down with hairdresser's.

☞ Go to Walgreens and figure it out yourself.

Last friday afternoon I went to my most anticipated hair appointment, as I intended to go from white blond to dark. Coincidentally, I came out with bright purple hair, despite me asking for a dark brown with a shimmer of lavender. There was no shimmer. This was full on freak show. As my hair was a tad damaged due to all the bleaching, I thought it only fair to give my head a break for at least a year. Unfortunately, break time has been put on the back burner for now.

But alas, a victim of many hair preying demons over the years of my hair coloring/cutting experience, I have never in my lifetime walked out of a salon satisfied. The walk of shame to my local Walgreens proved fruitful in the end. I added brown to the whole, then bleached my tips for an ombre effect.

Herewith my latest 'do, a mix of pink and purple.

I'm excited to introduce you to my newest sponsor "Daddyz". An awesome online store featuring many designers who create detailed, offbeat tights, leggings and socks. As you know, a huge fan myself of throw-me-on-and-feel-like-you-have-nothing-on leggings, I was more than ecstatic to hear from Daddyz who kindly sent me these pale colored graphic design leggings by Latvian brand QooQoo. I have been a fan of the QooQoo brand since eyeing their lovely designs on Etsy, so of course I was more than grateful to try this pair on for size.

Herewith a few of my favs of different designers from Daddyz online store.

  6. For a mistake, your hair looks pretty cool. I want to put some colour in my hair but I'm nervous about the damage. I'm trying to grow it out to as long as possible, so I'm not sure if bleaching it, is a good idea. I looooove tights and socks, so, thanks for the link!

  11. Agree, it's ALL about DIY hair. Hairdressers rarely get it.

  12. Your hair looks amazing! I actually dyed my hair a dark violet a few days ago (after my plum purple color faded after a week or so), and I chopped off my old ombre so now my hair notably short. I'll be lightning the tips today and dying them pink to give it the ombre look again! From purple to pink instead of red to orange. Your shoes are great and I'll totally be checking on Daddyz!

  14. Had you not mentioned your salon horror-story, I would have just thought you intentionally looked edgy and awesome. You really work the crazy colored hair, its super Gwen Stefani--in the best way possible!! I have been coveting that Free People coat for quite some time too. It looks great on you! xx

  16. so, i know how you feel on the whole hair salon thing. they really never ever ever do my hair exactly how i want it. (and my hair has been through some shit in the past few months) BUT on the bright side, your hair looks really really amazing. you did a crazy good job fixing whatever the hairdresser did to it. and you look absolutely gorgeous in these photos. you look like a movie star. oh and your outfit is pretty awesome too.

that was such a long comment. i definitely felt it was necessary though.
