Today I was quite the busy bee. I dyed my tips a dark lavender with this semi permanent dye from Walgreens called Splat, went to the gym, got my nails done and made a little DIY tutorial on fringe tee's..
So, first up, I chose this vintage tee I bought at the Wasteland, its too long for me so I thought it appropriate to choose this old thing to try my first DIY with. I then got out my scissors.
I start to cut around 1 inch wide strips up to where the lettering starts, because thats how short I want to go.
Then I realize that my scissors aren't sharp enough making the edges jagged, so I get out my cutter. I bought mine at an art supply store.
After Im finished cutting the strips, I then take each one and gently tug on it, making them thinner.
I then proceed to cut off the ends because I don't like their thick square appearance so much.
Finally I add a few knots to some of the fringes just for a little irregularity.
There you go !
